Mergen: Turkic God of Wisdom and Knowledge

As a deity of wisdom, Mergen's role extends beyond mere knowledge; he is also associated with the ability to foresee the future and understand deep truths. In some Tengric narratives, Mergen is depicted as an archer, symbolizing precision, focus, and the ability to hit the target, metaphorically relating to the pursuit of truth and enlightenment.

It is said that he resides on the Ulukayın, the Tree of Life in Turkic Cosmology.
