A Turkic General Flying towards Heaven (Tengrism)

A Turkic general and his entourage were killed in battle. After they were buried by their families, alongside their horses, they saw each other again in the sky. Their souls – and those of their horses, it is said – would then elevate towards the light and enter Uçmag: Heaven.

Uçmag simply means "to fly" in Turkish.
