The Ashina Gök Türk Dynasty | Family Portrait

The Ashina dynasty, self-designation: TÜRÜK, was a prominent ruling family of the Göktürk Empire, a major nomadic state in Central Asia during the late antiquity and early medieval periods. This dynasty played a crucial role in the formation and expansion of the Göktürk Khaganate, which emerged as a dominant power in the Eurasian Steppe. The Ashina realm stretched from the Khiggan Mountains in Manchuria to the Crimean Peninsula, from Lake Baikal and Siberia to the gates of Iran, Tibet and China.
